Woodcarving Realistic Bird Blanks-choice of Basswood or Tupelo

Note: - near the top of page across from the picture is a drop down list titled "Pick # blanks & wood  type"  which lists all the variations below and gives prices.  Also- I will combine shipping - let me know in advance so I can create one item for you.
These are carving blanks cut from  multiple species (you select) wood for carving  realistic birds.
They are appropriately sized for the full size of the type bird
All blanks come with a detailed Black and White pattern - a potion of the pattern is shown with each species when you select it from the drop down list. a few species come with painting instruction and or colored patterns.
In addition you have the choice of including appropriate sized  clear glass eyes with black pupils( you paint back with
appropriate
color acrylic paints-3 coats in my experience).  Also you have the additional choice of purchasing a combination with pewter Legs/feet.
In case of Chickdee's (and may fit other smaller songbirds)  I have just the feet(no Legs) available- msg me for this option
In most cases you have the choice of Basswood or Tupelo.  Basswood is best for hand tool carving and Tupelo for rotary power tool carving.
I also have Butternut (great for female cardinal) and Red  Cedar(great for male Cardinal) for when you  do NOT want to paint, but leave natural with just an oil or wax finish. Message me for these woods.

such as White Breasted Nuthatch, Cardinal & Goldfinch, Golden Crowned Kinglet and Loon. I  have pctures of just he birds up on this listing do you know the pose. If interested in these meddage me and I will get some cut and list
Variations currently listed:
1) Black Capped Chickadee. The Blank  is 4 5/8 inch long by 1 5/8 by 1 5/8. Comes with a Black and white pattern
2) Carolina Wren- 3 3/4 inch long, 1 3/4 inch wide and 2 inch high. Comes with a colored pattern to help woth paint ing and a written set of painting instructions.
3) White Throated Sparrow - The blank is 5 3/4 inch long, 2 1/4 inch wide and 2 1/2 inch hign. Comes with a black and white pattern, a colored pattern to help with painting and also a written set of paintuing instructions.
4)  White  Breasted Nuthatch - The blank is

The pictures are of a
finished
bird. You do not get that bird - what you will get is the Blank ( band sawn on 2 sides) to carve and paint your own bird.  When I do get a picture of the blanks posted they will be representative of the blanks you will get but not the actual ones you will receive as I sell them locally as well.

All blanks of the same
species
are the same basic shape and size.   If you want the same species of different sizes say for male and
female
birds or a different pose then message me in advance to ensure I have the wood to cut them
If you would like a different shape bird (such as Cardinal or Tit Mouse) or  different size (bigger, smaller, wider ) or different  mix of wood species, or different # of blanks,
contact me via eBay messages and wait for a reply before ordering as I will need to find a pattern, cut them and list them.
