Description

Vintage 1987 MRP Model Racing Products GP-10 1/10 Scale RC Chevron Indy Pro Pan Car Racer. This is part of a MRP, Bolink and Team Associated RC10L RC12 Collection.
Polycarbonate Indy Car Body-See all photos, has some blemishes as seen in photos, small chip in very front, no other major cracks.
Chassis : Fiberglass Pan w/ T-plate Drive. Scratches on bottom, hardware in great shape!
Pinion/Spur Gear Differential-adjustable Diff Ball Type, works fine.
Wheels-Nylon Spoked, all spin freely, some wobble in front wheels.
Tires : Sponge Rubber Foam-Good condition, graphics on side show wear.
Motor-MRP 551-Runs fine in FWD and REV
Transmitter Control: Aristocraft Hi-Tec Challenger-2PX. Steering wheel clicks when turned to right. Missing battery pack (available online, old Futaba 8 AA also fits and was used for testing)
Other-This is a very cool, hard to find vintage piece. Nothing like the mass produced junk that is available today.
Both servos and manual ESC function, but are a little glitchy, as they always are.
This appears complete as sold by MRP back in the 80’s. Would make a great 1980’s shelf display to add to your collection, or it could be a great runner with an additional ESC, TX Battery, 7.2V Stick Battery, new Radio, some elbow grease, and some upgrades.
