Vintage CAT Caterpillar 225 RC Excavator New Bright w/ Remote

Vintage CAT Caterpillar 225 RC Excavator New Bright w/ Remote.
Remote takes 1 9v battery and was power tested - works.
Truck takes a 9.6v battery pack which I do not have, so was not tested.
The cover to the battery pack is missing.
Also noted a small black plastic piece / part loose by the clear section of the Excavator shovel connector piece. Otherwise looks to be in great condition. For sale by original owner.
If the missing battery cover piece is found before auction end, I will include.
Truck measures about 23” on the diagonal.
