Tamiya Voltec Fighter 1/10 4WD On-road car New Racer Kit

For sale is a brand new Tamiya Voltec Fighter 4WD RC Car Kit.  This kit has never been opened and is still factory shrink wrapped.  Please note - this is the car only. Radio, speed controller, and batteries must be purchased separately.
The Voltec Fighter is from Tamiya's "RC Boy's 4WD Racer Series". This series of on-road vehicles were designed for ease of assembly and durability. They had very easy to assemble chassis and a durable design, perfect as an entry level car. Because they were 4WD and paired with a 380 sized motor, they were also easy to drive and learn on. The three in the series included the Wild Ceptor, Voltec Fighter, and Thunder Blitz.
The design of this vehicle is derived from Tamiya's Mini 4WD Slot Cars.  Mini slot car racing was very popular and Tamiya wanted to capitalize on the unique look of those cars in a larger 1/10 format.  This vehicle uses a standard RC radio control system.  Because it's a 380 sized motor, an inexpensive entry level ESC (Electronic Speed Control) will suffice.
For those not familiar, Tamiya is a leading manufacturer of radio controlled cars. Their products are known world wide for quality of construction and ease of assembly. This one in particular is well suited to learn on because it doesn't need to be painted (body is molded in blue) and has a limited number of parts. You'll also discover a number of customization parts as well including wheels, tires, ball bearings, and other items from Tamiya to personalize the vehicle.
