MODULAR UNIVERSAL CHASSIS PLATFORM
The Tachyon is a first-of-its-kind 3 piece modular chassis system. The patent pending design uses a universal main chassis plate, combined with a model specific front clip, and a model specific rear clip. Individual clips can be purchased for different models of cars, and any clip will fit on the universal chassis. This means that you can easily combine the front end of one model, with the back end of another model. You can decide to chose between rear motor, and mid motor on the spot, depending on surface conditions. All you would need is one additional completed rear clip in your pit box. (Note, to avoid confusion, this design isn't intended to allow flipping the orientation of a single differential.)
FEATURES & BENEFITS
The Tachyon's unique side rails implementation eliminates the chassis tweak that occurs from stand-off based designs. Any racer with a touring car background knows the struggle of needing to loosen all the uppper deck screws to let the car settle, then tighten it all back up. No need for a tweak station.
The front shock tower mount has an integrated traditional camber link mount that allows adjustment of HEIGHT, and length of camber links. Height is just as essential of a tuning aid as length is.
Engineered with durability in mind. Rather than going with a one piece design, a separate bumper mount assembly can take the force most common high-speed impacts. This inexpensive part is designed to fail in extreme crashes, which should allow the rest of the chassis to go unharmed.
